Welcome to the Durham Including Men Network
Does your service work with fathers, male carers and their families?
Are you involved in the development or implementation of policy in Durham that affects fathers and families?
Are you involved in the recruitment or training of workers in Children’s Services?
Services across the county are working together to develop a common approach to include fathers and male carers. The aim is to include fathers and male carers in services in order to improve outcomes for children and young people in Durham.

This group has been set up to include practitioners, managers and policy makers from early years, health, education, EYDCP and other settings in the voluntary, statutory and private sectors to provide a forum where workers and managers can come together, share and develop evidence based practice and work together.
It provides a focus for managers and practitioners to feed into and respond to the way the county incorporates changes in national policy into its policies and practices right across Children's Services.
The group is being coordinated by Sure Start County Durham in partnership with Children North East. See also the regionwide
Father Work Forum
