Who is this course for? Any agency or individual who intend to develop work with young fathers including: Sure Starts, Education Services, Social Services, Youth Offending Teams, Health Services and those from the charitable and voluntary sector.
Aims: The aims of Introduction to Working with Young Fathers training course are:
To raise awareness amongst individual father workers of issues young fathers face
Help participants consider changes that need to be made in their everyday practice in order to better serve the needs of young fathers
Initiate practical change in participant's present practice
Outcomes: following the completion of this course it is anticipated that participants will be able to:
Initiate discussion, stimulate debate and develop first steps in meaningful young father/ men working
Cost: £450 per course or £49.50 per participant. Additional travel allowance may be charged where appropriate and when delivered outside the North East
