A series of free workshops have been organised for the afternoon of 11th September 2006 in order to link with the major conference attended by senior managers and policy makers. Speakers for the morning event include: -

Catherine Fitt, Director of Children Services, Newcastle
Sue Stirling, Director of IPPR North and many more.
(Please note that there is a fee of £69 to attend the conference in the morning but the afternoon workshops and network meeting will be free of charge).
The afternoon event is themed 'Linking Policy and Practice' and will provide an opportunity for managers and practitioners to learn about real life examples and of the link between policy and emerging good practice. There will be three workshops specifically designed for participants to gain practical skills and valuable knowledge to develop their practice.
