On 2/11/06 the following agreement was made about the partnership:

Statement 1

As a partnership we agree to the sharing of good practice through education, training and awareness raising.

This will be achieved through multi-agency working making best use of knowledge, expertise and skills to address gender imbalance in the childcare sector.

Statement 2

As a partnership we agree, that the appropriate regional representatives meet on a regular basis across the region to share and disseminate information and that we work towards achieving common goals and objectives as agreed by the partnership

Statement 3

As a partnership we agree to work together with a common understanding of our vision, aims and objectives towards reforming the workforce by:

• Sharing good practice
• Developing common literature through the sharing of resources
• Developing common taster programmes
• Influencing locally, regionally and nationally issues relating to the needs of this particular workforce
• Evaluating the work we undertake to ensure, that it is still fit for purpose
