Policy-makers, researchers and senior managers from all the disciplines, policy areas and agencies in the field of Children’s Services are invited to take part in this half day conference. A number of prominent speakers will be reviewing recent and future developments in policy and practice to improve outcomes for children by including fathers and male carers in service provision.
Practitioners Network and Workshops 2.15pm – 4.30pm
Senior staff are invited to join practitioners from early years, health, education and maternity services in a North East Father Work forum event. The network meets bi-monthly at venues around the region to enable practitioners from a variety of disciplines to exchange knowledge and share best practice.
The afternoon event is themed ‘Linking Policy and Practice’ and will provide an opportunity for senior managers, practitioners and policy makers to learn about real life examples of the link between policy and emerging good practice in three workshops.
