Welcome to the North Tyneside Including Men Group
Does your service work with fathers, male carers and their families?
Are you involved in the development or implementation of policy in North Tyneside borough that affects fathers and families?
Are you involved in the recruitment or training of workers in Children’s Services?
Services across the borough are working together to develop a common approach to include fathers and male carers. Our aim is to include fathers and male carers in services in order to improve outcomes for children and young people in North Tyneside.

This group has been set up to include practitioners, managers and policy makers from early years, health, education, EYDCP and other settings in the voluntary, statutory and private sectors to provide a forum where workers and managers can come together, share and develop evidence based practice and work together.
It provides a focus for managers and practitioners to feed into and respond to the way the borough incorporates changes in national policy into its policies and practices right across Children's Services.
The group is being coordinated by Children North East Fathers Plus Project. See also the regionwide
Father Work Forum which has been running for several years.
You can use the links to add details to the
knowledge bank about any projects or events which have something to offer fathers and male carers in the borough.
If you want to join this group click on the link on the right hand side of the page (you will need to be registered/logged in to the website first). Once you have joined the group you will be able to share news, documents and events with other members of the group.
